international foodie

I believe a convenient spin-off from my Travel Blog would be to do an "international" run-down of all the exotic foods I'll be tasting when in Peru.

Funny, the friend who left me for Peru once mused that she will be starting up her own food blog. Well, a blog period would have been a stretch for this lazy digital one. But alas, come & gone and the novelty of capturing the memories of food just evaporates like the french fries on your plate. So I suppose as a teaser, I'd do her the honor of sharing the different types of dishes she experienced so far while in Peru...

1. Lots of Ceviche

2. Regular but not so regular ole' potatos

3. Those exotic meat dishes (I think this is duck)

4. And of course, lots of sangria

I'm sure my own foodie experiences whilst in Peru will be cataloged a lot more frequently & hopefully, with the help of such a great food photographer, a lot more eye-opening to see.

I just hope she won't be experimenting with too many strange meats for me...

P.S. Follow my full travel blog http://jetsetgina.blogspot.com/ for more updates on my trip to Peru!

the iPhone makes it easy...

These delectable shots of great tasty bites and drool-inducing snacks were all taken by me and my most important hand-held device ever: my iPhone. I love the effects that I'm able to do & joining online community apps like instagr.am really boosts my ego.

What's even more interesting to note is that ever since I started taking photos of my snacks out and Tweeting them, I am getting popular amongst the businesses in re-tweets & shares of these photos on their Facebooks

Side note:  That's right, ever since I've been photographing my food items, the following businesses have been sharing my content (those photos up there!) with their followers:

Naturally, I don't think this is a coincidence. I think it's a sign: I'm destined to be a food blogger!! After all, I know good eats & I share what's good with the world...

Thank you, iPhone, and thank you social media; I do adore every window of opportunity you opened for me.

And it's that simple. As simple as my love for the smell of bacon in the morning...

oh, let the bloggery begin!

Why hello there, yes I started a new food blog. Not for any particular reason other than to show my love for great food, nice neat places to eat, delicious drinks, and everything digest-ably friendly.

Come along for the ride and I promise you will leave hungry...
